Israel: Protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continue for 8 months

Protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have been going on for eight months, demanding his resignation over corruption in Israel and the failure of the fight against Kwid-19.

Despite the quarantine, a large number of protesters took part in a demonstration near the Prime Minister's Residency in West Jerusalem.

Protesters chanted "Netanyahu go home" with shirts and masks with the words "guilty prime minister" written on them.

Protesters held placards reading "All are equal in the eyes of the law" and "Go back."

Protests also took place in Tel Aviv and other parts of the country, including West Jerusalem.

Police at the demonstration in front of the Prime Ministry Residence 8 protesters have taken into custody.

It should be noted that Israel is facing the third wave of Kwid-19 and unemployment is rising rapidly.
