Afghanistan: 3 martyred in attack on police post

An armed attack on a police checkpoint in the Afghan province of Ghazni has killed three policemen.

Unidentified men targeted a police checkpoint in Ghazni's Fourth Zone.

Ghazni police spokesman Ahmad Khan Sira said three policemen were killed in the attack and the attackers managed to flee the scene.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
