Pakistan has summoned a senior Indian diplomat to the Foreign Office to protest the continued violation of the ceasefire agreement, saying India's aggressive attitude is a threat to regional peace and security.
According to a Foreign Office spokesman, the Indian occupying forces opened fire on the Line of Control on December 30, injuring Muhammad Sarfraz, a resident of Kot Katira. A Foreign Office spokesman said Indian forces were using heavy weapons against civilians on the LOC.
A Foreign Office spokesman said that during the last year, the Indian occupying forces violated the ceasefire agreement 3,097 times, killing 28 innocent civilians and injuring 257 others.
The Foreign Office spokesman made it clear to the Indian diplomat that India's aggressive stance was a threat to regional peace and security. Pakistan demanded that India allow a UN observer mission to review the situation.
