Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Pakistan leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmad has demanded of the Election Commission to stop the Maulana Fazlur Rehman group from using the name JUI Pakistan.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said that a memorandum against Fazlur Rehman group has been submitted to the Election Commission through Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk. Earlier in the Election Commission, Fazlur Rehman group was addressed in the name of JUI-F. Has been contesting elections since, so now they should be stopped from using the name of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan.
It should be noted that due to differences with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had parted ways with him some time ago.
