Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood, while breaking the silence on the demand of students for online exams, said that it is up to the universities to decide whether to take the exams online or not.

According to the details, Shafqat Mehmood said that the Higher Education Commission has been asked to consult the VCs of the universities regarding online examinations. The universities should check whether they have the facility of online examinations or not. should not be .

It may be recalled that the federal government had allowed the opening of educational institutions from January 18 to class IX to XII, however, universities and educational institutions from class I to VIII will be opened from February 1.
