Elections for 11 Senate seats from Punjab but how many seats are likely to be won by PTI and PML-N

 

In the Senate elections to be held in March, the ruling party PTI and PML-N are expected to contest for 11 seats in Punjab. Has spoken on the phone to take advantage of his experience in the Senate elections.

According to the Express, 41.2 votes are required to be elected as a senator in the 371-member Punjab Assembly at present. The PTI tops the list with 181 seats, while its ally the PML-Q has 10 seats. One member of Rah-e-Haq Party and four independents are also with the government. Six to eight rebel members of PML-N are also seen standing with the government. It is as if the ruling party could easily win five of the nine seats. The PML-N has 165 seats in the House. If the PPP announces its support to the PML-N, the PML-N can win four seats.

On the other hand, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi from the PML-Q wants to take a seat in the Senate from the government quota. After recovering from Corona, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has also been mobilized for the Senate elections and he has decided to convene an important meeting regarding the Senate elections next week.
