Norgal, the mastermind of suicide bombings in Pakistan, was killed in an explosion in Afghanistan.
According to security sources, a car bomb had exploded in Kunar province of Afghanistan yesterday, killing two people and injuring one. The victims of the IED blast have been identified today.
Security sources said one of the dead in the blast was identified as Noor Gul, head of the financial commission of the banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar. Deputy Amir Rashid alias Mama was also killed in the blast while Commander Waheed Gul was injured. The terrorists had left Dzhalal-Abad in their vehicle and were killed before reaching their destination.
Private TV ARY News, citing security sources, claimed that the vehicle of Noor Gul, the mastermind of terrorist attacks in Pakistan, was targeted in a clash between banned organizations in Afghanistan. Noor Gul has been involved in high profile terrorist activities in Pakistan. He was the mastermind of the Islamabad High Court suicide attack and was also involved in the suicide attack on the Shah Noorani shrine.
The sources further said that terrorists were provided funding in Pakistan through the financial commission of the banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar. This group of terrorists is involved in dozens of suicide attacks and targeted killings. The dead terrorists have also been involved in attacks on security forces in Quetta.
