The number of National Guards deployed in the capital has been increased to 20,000 in the wake of violent protests during the inauguration of US President-elect Joe Biden.
According to the report of the foreign news agency, the Trump supporters are expressing their grief and anger over the defeat of the US President Trump and the Trump supporters have declared the election as non-transparent on which fierce protests are going on.
Strict security arrangements have been put in place for the swearing-in of newly elected US President Joe Biden in the wake of the violent protests.
Sources said that the number of National Guards stationed in Washington DC has been increased to 20,000 while barbed wire has been installed around several buildings including the US Supreme Court due to fear of riots.
Roads, businesses and metro stations near Capitol Hill were ordered to close.
The foreign news agency says the FBI has arrested more than 100 people involved in the attack on Capitol Hill.
