Akbar S. Babar made another serious allegation against Prime Minister Imran Khan after foreign funding

 

Akbar S. Babar, a petitioner in the foreign funding case and a founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said that the scrutiny committee of the Election Commission has no justification for not providing us with documents. Talking to media, Akbar S. Babar said that 23 bank accounts of PTI were hidden from the Election Commission, PTI lawyers could not appear in the scrutiny committee meeting of the Election Commission and PTI requested to postpone the proceedings. He said that the next meeting of the scrutiny committee will be held on February 2. We requested the scrutiny committee to provide PTI documents. The scrutiny committee has no justification for not providing the documents to us. Bank accounts were hidden from the Election Commission.

He said that Imran Khan had stated that the proceedings of the scrutiny committee should be open. He said that Imran Khan's objection to the scrutiny committee was now over.
