A weekly report on dollar and stock exchange trading has been released in the interbank market.

According to the weekly report, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) had a positive trend in the business week and the 100 Index closed at 42207 with an increase of 1399 points, the highest level of the index was 42410 while the lowest was 40669. While the stock market traded at Rs 90 billion, the market capitalization increased by Rs 210 billion to Rs 7729 billion in one week.

The spokesman added that according to the weekly report of the dollar in the interbank market, the value of the dollar rose by 67 paise in one week and exceeded Rs 160 during the week. The dollar rose from Rs 159.46 to Rs 160.13 in one week.
