Slogans of 'Go Nawaz Go' were raised from the stage at the PML-N's social media convention.
PML-N's social media convention was held at Khokhar Palace in which the party's central vice president Maryam Nawaz was also present. During the ceremony, National Assembly member Afzal Khokhar's tongue slipped and he chanted 'Gonoaz Go' from the stage.
PML-N women workers were also present at the function held at Khokhar Palace. Afzal Khokhar first chanted slogans in the name of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Shahbaz Sharif, and Hamza Shahbaz and later his tongue slipped in his eloquent speech.
As soon as Afzal Khokhar realized his mistake, he started chanting slogans like 'Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif' and 'Go Niazi Go'.
Besides Maryam Nawaz, Pervez Rashid and other party leaders were also present on the stage. Later, Nawaz Sharif also addressed the function.
Earlier, during the anti-government sloganeering outside the Punjab Assembly, the female member of the League, Azmi Bukhari, slipped her tongue and said 'Go Imran Go' instead of 'Go Imran Go'.
