The Punjab Anti-Corruption Department has prepared a report of the top ten departments involved in corruption. The Revenue Department came first with 12,582 complaints of corruption.
According to details, the Punjab Anti-Corruption Department prepared a report on corruption complaints which said that the Revenue Department came first with 12,582 complaints while the Punjab Police Department came second with 10,334 complaints against the Local Government and Community Development Department. 4,862 complaints were reported. According to the report, the health department came fourth with 2,106 complaints.
The Department of Irrigation received 1920 and 1885 complaints against Schools Education. Public Health Development ranked seventh with 882 complaints, with 903 complaints reported against officers of the Communications and Works Department. Similarly, 632 complaints were lodged against Punjab Highway and 519 against the district administration. Anti-Corruption Punjab says the report is based on complaints received in 13 months.
