An Australian diver narrowly escaped being hit by a shark when he kept the shark away from his camera and saved his life.
The lone diver named Devon Creek was submerged in the sea off Queensland, Australia.
He said in an interview that while he was adjusting his camera, he was suddenly attacked by a hammerhead shark.
The diver said he pushed her back several times with his camera stick.
He said that he was the only person underwater at that time while his two companions were waiting for him in the boat on the surface of the water.
The diver said he felt lucky to have survived, and that he would be submerged next time with more precautions.
