Sessions Court Lahore restrained Pakistan team captain Babar Azam and his family from harassing Hamiza Mukhtar.
According to details, Additional Sessions Judge Abid Raza heard the petition filed by girl Hamiza Mukhtar against Babar Azam. After hearing the petitioner's position, the court restrained Babar Azam and his family from harassing Hamiza Mukhtar.
Earlier, a girl named Hamiza Mukhtar had leveled serious allegations against national cricket team captain Babar Azam for sexual abuse, violence and extortion.
At a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, a girl named Hamiza Mukhtar claimed that she had been living in Babar Azam's neighborhood, both of them were studying in the same school. Babar Azam cheated on me in love, promised marriage in 2010 but whenever If she had demanded marriage, she would have been tortured. Both the families were not ready for marriage. Eventually, Babar Azam refused. Hamiza alleged that I spent crores of rupees from my beauty salon earnings on Babar Azam. The matter was not heard by the police and the PCB did not take any action.
At the press conference, the woman's lawyer said that as the FIR was not registered, the petition is now in the Sessions Court, which has a hearing on December 4, while the sexual harassment case is scheduled to be heard on December 5.
On the other hand, the PCB has termed the allegations of the woman as a personal matter of Babar Azam. The captains of the national team are currently completing quarantine in New Zealand with the squad. The allegations of the woman against Kim Go and the shy Babar Azam have been shared on social media.
