Indian forces have once again violated the ceasefire agreement on the Line of Control, which resulted in the martyrdom of a young Pakistani soldier.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, unprovoked firing took place on the Satwal sector of the Line of Control, as a result of which a 22-year-old soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred.
According to ISPR, the Pakistan Army responded to the Indian provocation. In retaliation, the Indian army suffered heavy losses.
It may be recalled that two days ago, Indian forces opened fire on Tatta Pani and Jandroot sectors in which a 50-year-old woman was martyred and three civilians, including a 4-year-old Nayab, were injured.
Earlier on December 18, India also targeted the vehicle of a UN observer on the Line of Control. Fortunately, both observers were safe but their vehicles were severely damaged, prompting Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Foreign Office to intervene. The international community was made aware of India's high-handed tactics and nefarious intentions.
