More than 130,000 people were vaccinated in the first week of the code vaccination program in the United Kingdom. Nadeem Zahawi, the minister in charge of the UK's vaccine rollout, tweeted that 137,897 people had been vaccinated across the UK in the first seven days. Vaccines are being injected at community clinics.
More than 70 hospitals participated in the vaccination program during the first week - 10 more are joining the program this week.
108,000 in England , Wales 7,897 , Northern Ireland 4,000 and 18,000 were vaccinated in Scotland.
