A blizzard in Iran's northern mountains has killed 10 climbers and left several missing.
According to the foreign news agency 'AP', Iran's state media provided details about the accident that a rescue operation is underway to find the missing climbers at 4 different places.
According to Tehran's state television, several climbers had been missing since Friday, after which two deaths were reported, leading to an increase in reports of missing persons.
According to local media, the family of the climber has started contacting the authorities.
On the other hand, Mehdi Walipur, head of emergency operations in Iran's Red Crescent, quoted the state broadcaster IRIB as saying that nine people were killed on the mountain and one died at the hospital.

Earlier, he said at least seven climbers were still to be found on three popular trails.
He said the search was abandoned on Saturday night but would resume on Sunday morning.
A member of the Red Crescent team said the rescue mission was complicated by bad weather and snow.
State television broadcast footage of a helicopter rescue operation on the Tochal and Kolachal peaks of the Alborz mountain range.
The video showed Red Crescent officials moving a climber on a stretcher along a snow-capped mountain.
It should be noted that Tehran is located at the foot of the Alborz mountain range and its height is 18,606 feet.
According to Iran's semi-official news agency, heavy snowfall and strong winds caused chaos in several parts of Iran on Thursday.
Meanwhile, maritime authorities are searching for seven crew members of an Iranian ship based in the Gulf on Friday.
"We are working with the military to find the missing crew of ships, naval search and emergency services in Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan," said Ismail, deputy chief of Iran's maritime agency.
