British company Karen Energy has won a tax case against India in the International Arbitration Court, after which India will have to pay $1.2 billion in damages.
The defeat in the tax case against British energy company Cairn Energy in The Hague's International Arbitration Court is India's second major defeat. Earlier in September, another British multinational telecommunications company, Voda Defeated in a tax case against the phone.
