India beat Australia by eight wickets in the second Test of the series. In the second innings, the Australian team was bowled out for 200 runs. India achieved the target of 70 runs for two wickets. The four-match series ended in a draw.

On the fourth day of the Test, the home team was bowled out for 200 in the second innings, with Cameron Green scoring 45 and Matthew Wade 40. Ravi Chandra Eshwan bowled three wickets.

India got a target of 70 runs to win, which they achieved at a loss of two wickets. Shabman Gul (35) and Rahane (27) remained unbeaten.

India won the match by eight wickets to tie the four-match series at one.

The third Test of the series will be played in Sydney from January 3.
