Researchers in Saudi Arabia have discovered human footprints in an area that is said to be 120,000 years old.
According to foreign media, during a survey of an ancient lake in the Nafud Desert, archaeologists have found traces that have become prominent due to the erosion of the lake. These are the footprints of animals and humans found on the shores of Lake Athar. These include camels, horses, and elephants.
Experts believe that animals and humans will come to the shores of this lake to drink water. If the researchers' guess is correct and these traces are indeed 120,000 years old, then they are one of the oldest traces ever found indicating early human civilization in the Arabian Peninsula.
