The three-tier system was implemented across the country in the UK at midnight on Wednesday (December 2) with the national lockdown ending. It consists of three different sanctions levels, according to which Bedford, Luton, Central Beds and Milton Keynes are included in the new system's Level 2 principles.
Under the second tier restrictions, pubs and bars will be open until 11pm, but only if they serve as a restaurant, wine can only be served with meals and pubs for up to six people from different families. And can sit together outside in the garden.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has faced questions from members of parliament at this week's PMQ. MPs have approved new tough coronavirus sanctions for England, but 55 Tory MPs have voted against the government's plan, the biggest rebellion in Boris Johnson's prime ministership.
On the other hand, the UK has become the first country in the world to approve the Pfizer and Biotech corona virus vaccines for widespread use.
