Leading Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced plans to set up a manufacturing plant in Pakistan. According to the website ProPakistani, the company has signed an agreement to set up a manufacturing plant in Pakistan, under which the company will invest 10 million in the construction of the plant in Pakistan. The plant will be set up at M3 Industrial Estate, Faisalabad.
According to the report, the company has entered into an agreement with Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company. Punjab Industry Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal was also present on the occasion. Talking to reporters, the minister said that the provincial government would extend all possible cooperation to the Chinese company in setting up the manufacturing plant. The construction of this plant will not only boost the local smartphone industry but also create job opportunities. ”
