PML-N Punjab Assembly member Sameera Komal has alleged that opponents opened fire on her in the Mozang area but police have denied her claim.
On Thursday, Ali and Arshad, nephews of League MPA Sameera Komal, got into a quarrel with the neighbors on Waris Road in the Mozang area and a young man named Aamir opened fire on them. When the fighting broke out, Sameera Komal also arrived and alleged that she had been fired upon by political opponents.
On the other hand, the police say that this is not a political issue but there has been aerial firing in the children's fight. SP Civil Lines Raza Safdar Kazmi said that the firing was not direct but was carried out in the air. No bullet hit any wall or door nearby. Accused Aamir has been arrested and weapons have been recovered.
