Pakistan Army Spokesman (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has clarified that Pakistan has a definite position regarding Israel which has the full support of the Pakistan Army, from unnecessary speculations in this regard. Should be avoided.
According to a local newspaper, DG ISPR said that Pakistan's armed forces fully support the country's statement on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In this case, the government of Pakistan has a fixed position, which has the full support of the Armed Forces. Unnecessary speculations on this subject should be discouraged.
It may be recalled that the debate over Israel in Pakistan escalated last Sunday when it came to light that the Israeli Prime Minister had a secret meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Saudi city of Newem. News of the meeting sparked a debate in Pakistan over Israel's recognition.
On the other hand, an aide to the prime minister said on condition of anonymity that top military officials even say that Arab countries like Saudi Arabia should recognize Israel but Pakistan will not recognize it.
