In Panipat district of Indian state of Haryana, two persons entered the house and shot the woman. The woman came out of the house injured and asked for help from the neighbors but they refused.
According to Indian media, a 35-year-old woman was staying on the first floor of a house in Panipat. 2 Unidentified men forced their way into his house and shot him. The woman was shot in the chest and back while the assailants fled.
The injured woman got down and came out of the house and asked the neighbors for help to reach the bus stop but no one helped her after which she walked 350 meters to the bus stop and took a rickshaw 12 km from there. She went to the hospital. The woman was rushed to Rohtak district in critical condition.
