The world's largest cargo plane crashed in Russia. This aircraft can carry up to 150 tons of cargo.
According to foreign media, Russia's NA-124 cargo plane was going to the Austrian capital Vienna with cargo. The plane took off from Novosibirsk Airport and after reaching an altitude of 958 feet, one of its engines stopped working. The plane also lost power, cutting off communication with the control tower.
According to officials, after the technical malfunction, the pilot showed great skill and diverted the plane back to the airport to avoid major damage. The pilot tried to land the plane. The plane stopped after crawling on the runway for 700 feet, during which its front wheel broke and its wings on both sides were damaged.
There were 14 people on board at the time of the crash, but fortunately none of them were injured or killed.
