Zulfi Bukhari, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Overseas Pakistan, has clarified that the UAE has not imposed any visa ban on Pakistanis.
There were reports in the media claiming that the UAE had banned Pakistani ministers. Zulfi Bukhari contacted UAE Minister of Human Resources Nasr bin Thani Al-Hamli after the news broke.
According to Zulfi Bukhari, the UAE Minister clarified that there was no ban on the entry of skilled workforce from Pakistan to the UAE but the number of people coming from Pakistan has increased by 11%.
The Emirati minister added that people who had lost their jobs in Corona and registered themselves in the virtual labor market database were being given priority in the jobs. Applicants for the 10-year Golden Visa are also being encouraged.
Zulfi Bukhari thanked the UAE Minister and said that he would continue to work with the UAE leadership to solve the problems of Pakistanis living there.
