Bollywood actor Asif Basra, 53, ended his life with his own hands. According to the preliminary investigation, he has committed suicide due to depression.
According to an Indian TV channel, Asif Basra has been living in a rented flat in Himachal Pradesh for the last five years. He was living in a love affair with a foreign woman.
On Thursday afternoon, Asif Basra took his dog out for a walk and came back and committed suicide by trapping him with a dog rope.
After a preliminary investigation, police have ruled out the possibility that the actor committed suicide due to depression. However, further investigations into the matter are ongoing.

Asif Basra was a big name in the film and television industry, he also made a name for himself in the theater. He has acted in Shant Singh Rajput's Kai Poche, Rani Mukherjee's Hitchhiker, Haritak Roshan's Krish 3, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor's Jab We Met, Anurag Keshp's Black Friday and Saif Ali Khan's Qalaqandi. ۔
He played the last role of his life in Hot Star's special series Hostages, the second season of which was released in September this year.
