The purse that was lost on New Year's Eve 26 years ago on a beach in Australia has surprisingly reached its owner.
While Joseph Bewes was having a picnic on the south coast of Australia, he found a men's wallet containing some money, ID cards, credit, and debit cards.
Joseph reported seeing a wallet on Facebook after seeing the name on his ID card, which was read by a woman and he suspected that it was his cousin's name. Cousin Paul Davis also confirmed that this is my wallet.
Paul and Joseph met on the beach where they had lost their purses 26 years earlier. When Paul returned the 26-year-old purse to Joseph, he found the purse as well as a good friend.
