Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Firdous Ashiq Awan has been appointed as Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar for information. After which Firdous Ashiq Awan was appointed as Special Assistant for Information. Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan will have the portfolio of Ministry of Colonies.
It may be recalled that in April this year, the government had removed Information and Broadcasting Advisor Firdous Ashiq Awan from his post and appointed former Army Spokesman Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa to the post. He said that the Prime Minister has the right to decide which player of the team should be fed on which batting order or which field position. I respect their decision.
