The English team's tour of Pakistan has been postponed till September-October next year

 

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has postponed its team's tour of Pakistan until September-October next year.

According to media reports, the ECB has postponed the tour of Pakistan due to expenses and unavailability of players.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, England have been invited to tour for 3 T20 matches early next year and are still awaiting a response from the English board.

On the other hand, the ECB has postponed its tour of Pakistan till September-October next year due to unavailability of players and expenses.

According to the cricket website, the matter has been agreed between the PCB and the England Cricket Board officials, now the series will be used for the preparations for the T20 World Cup.

The website claims that England board officials were concerned about sending a Pakistan 'C' team, the PCB had invited England for a short tour of 3T20 matches in January and England invited Pakistan. Also confirmed.

On the other hand, the English cricket team is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka in January.

Sources said that the Pakistan Cricket Board has agreed to move the series forward.

The PCB said it was awaiting a response from the English board, and had yet to announce its plans.
