Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that anti-national elements have been fomenting terrorism and chaos in the province. Enemy forces will not allow chaos in Balochistan.
According to Major General Babar Iftikhar, Director General, Public Relations, Pakistan Army, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited Quetta. Corps Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Muhammad Waseem Ashraf received the Army Chief on his arrival in Quetta. Addressing the participants of National Workshop Balochistan, Army Chief General Bajwa said that peace and prosperity of Pakistan is linked with democracy and its values, peace and stability in Balochistan is very important for the development of the country.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that all stakeholders including the army are working for the socio-economic development of Balochistan. He said that anti-national elements have been fomenting terrorism and chaos in the province. I will not allow chaos.
According to Pakistan Army spokesman, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa also commented on the steps taken to erect a fence on the Pak-Afghan-Iran border. He said that the Quetta Safe City project would improve the security situation.
