Seven countries, including Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, have decided to co-operate in digital operations, a major breakthrough in the field of digital technology in the region.
According to the details, a digital cooperation organization consisting of 7 countries has been established. The federal cabinet has approved joining the organization on the proposal of Saudi Arabia. 7 countries including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and Egypt are in the organization. India has not been included in the 7-nation digital plan. The key decisions on digital transformation in the region will be made by the 7 countries. Cybersecurity, health systems and education systems will be digitized.
The Digital Cooperation Organization will be headquartered in Riyadh. The first meeting of the IT ministers of the member countries has been convened. Pakistan will be represented by Federal Minister for Information Technology Aminul Haq.
