In Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, 50-year-old local actress Samina Khattak was stabbed to death by her own son on suspicion of having relations with non-men. According to police, actress Samina Khattak alias Nina Ali was living alone in Hanjarwal area of Lahore when she was killed by her own son Ahmed Shahrooz in the name of honor, after which she fled the scene. Police also seized a murder weapon.
According to sources, the victim Samina Khattak alias Nina Ali had two marriages and divorced both the husbands due to failure. However, her son Ahmed Shahrooz suspected that his mother was having an affair with non-men who So he killed her in the name of honor.
On the other hand, a woman suspected of remarrying her husband killed her 2-year-old daughter in Basti Gashkori area of Muzaffargarh in Punjab province. According to police, the woman suspected that her husband had secretly remarried. As a result of which she had a bitter argument with her own husband which took the form of an increasingly heated quarrel. Meanwhile, the woman angrily cut her 2-year-old daughter's throat with a sharp instrument. The body of the innocent girl, who was killed by the police, was shifted to the Rural Health Center, Sananwan for post-mortem, while the woman was taken into custody as a result of the police operation.
When a doctor in Sialkot committed suicide after his first wife refused to allow him to remarry, Zubair Ahmed, a 40-year-old dentist from Bhopal on the outskirts of Sialkot, wanted to remarry. When he asked his first wife's permission, he flatly refused. Due to which he took poisonous pills. He was rushed to the hospital due to ill health but he could not survive and died.
