Strange volcanic wells in Saudi Arabia

 

Some of the volcanic mountain ranges in western Saudi Arabia and the resulting wells have existed for thousands of years.

Volcanoes in the form of Zakzak are found in all sorts of volcanic eruptions and have been the center of attention in every age.

According to the foreign news agency, the photographer Muhammad Al-Sharif, who is keen on photography of natural places in Saudi Arabia, has captured in his camera the scenes of these volcanic rocks and the resulting pits of extraordinary size.

These mountains are found between the sites of Al-Ais and Amalj volcanoes that stretch northwest and southeast in Saudi Arabia.

The range of these volcanic rocks extends up to 65 km and its width is 55 km. In total, they cover an area of ​​3575 square kilometers.

In the west, it meets the coastal mountains, 50 km from the city of Amalj, on the coast of the Al-Hail Valley and the Al-Avind Valley.

Most of the flames can be seen rising towards the sky from the volcanoes and their strongholds, said photographer Muhammad Al-Sharif. These volcanoes have a special uniqueness in terms of their texture and strange colors.

Locally they are remembered by different names. They are called Al-Muqrat, Zatra, Al-Aqbat, Al-Ghazba, Haseena and Al-Safa.
