Stock market: 100 points increase of 57 points

 

On the first day of the business week, the 100 Index closed at 40,784 on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

At the end of trading today, the Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 Index closed at 40,784 with an increase of 57 points.

Shares worth Rs 6,2,55 were traded in the stock market today.

On the other hand, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 700 on the first day of the business week in the exchange market.

According to the Sindh Barter Bazaar Association, the price of gold per tola has come down by Rs 700 to Rs 114,600.

Besides, the price of 10 grams of gold has come down by Rs 600 to Rs 98,251.

It may be recalled that two days ago, the price of gold per tola was reduced by Rs 700, after which its new price was Rs 115,300.

In addition, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 600 to Rs 98,851.

Last Friday, gold rose by Rs 1,400 per tola to Rs 116,000 in the barter market.

Besides, 10 grams of gold had gone up by Rs 1,200 to Rs 99,451.
