Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed predicted the results even before the Gilgit-Baltistan elections. Rashid said that their faces will be down when the result of Gilgit-Baltistan starts coming, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will win the elections and get majority in Gilgit-Baltistan, PPP will be in second position while PML-N will be hit. He said that for the first time, not the army but the police was playing a role in the elections. People within the PML-N did not want to go along with this statement.
