Raja Azam Khan of PTI won in GB-12 constituency

 

The results of the candidates contesting for the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly are continuing to come out. In constituency GB-12 Shigar, Raja Azam Khan of PTI won with 9,322 votes. PPP's Imran Nadeem came second with 7,663 votes. According to unconfirmed unofficial results, all the polling stations in GB-12 Shigar constituency of Gilgit-Baltistan have been declared.

 In which Raja Azam Khan of PTI won with 9,322 votes. PPP's Imran Nadeem came second with 7,663 votes while PML-N candidate Tahir Shugri came third with 2,573 votes. It is to be noted that the polling process has been completed in 23 out of 24 constituencies of the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly today.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, 190 independent candidates including 21 from ruling party Tehreek-e-Insaf, 23 from PPP and 21 from PML-N also participated in the elections. , 3 candidates of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and 2 candidates of Jamaat participated in the elections. In the election, 745,361 registered voters exercised their franchise. Among them, more than 400,000 male voters and more than 335,000 female voters cast their votes. In Diamer District 4, Ganchhe District 3, Ghazar District 3, Gilgit District 3, Hunza District, Skardu, people cast their votes in the constituencies.
