Firdous Shamim Naqvi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also came under the radar of NAB while the Sindh High Court granted interim bail of Rs 1 million to a member of Sindh Assembly.
The Sindh High Court heard the bail plea of Firdous Shamim Naqvi. The counsel for the petitioner argued that NAB has re-sent notice to Firdous Shamim Naqvi for summons on the issue of allotment of land to NAB Habib Group of Companies. Investigating, Habib Group of Companies was allotted land on a 30-year lease in 2006. The court granted interim bail to Firdous Shamim Naqvi for Rs 1 million. The court restrained the NAB from arresting Firdous Shamim Naqvi till November 27.
Meanwhile, the Sindh High Court (SHC) granted interim bail to PPP member Sindh Assembly Sardar Khan Chandio. Before the bench, a bail application was heard against Manzoor Wasan in connection with the NAB's inquiry into making assets in excess of income.
