Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 Dream Team has been announced, which includes 6 players of Lahore Qalandars and 3 players of Karachi Kings.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that a four-member jury has announced the Team of the PSL 2020.
According to the jury, the leadership of the team has been handed over to Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan.
The interesting thing about this team is that 6 players of Lahore Qalandars run run team of PSL 5 have been included in it while 3 players of the winning team Karachi Kings have become a part of it.
In addition, one player each from Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators has been included in the team.
Chris Lane, Mohammad Hafeez, Ben Dunk (wicket keeper), David Wesa, Shaheen Afridi and Fakhr Zaman (12th player) have been included from Lahore Qalandars.
The team includes Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir and Alex Hales of Karachi Kings, while Haider Ali, a young batsman from Peshawar Zalmi, Mohammad Hasnain from Quetta Gladiators and Shadab Khan of Islamabad United, who are also the captains of the team.
According to the PCB, the four-member jury selected the dream team, which included commentators Bazid Khan, Rameez Raja, Urooj Mumtaz and Nadeem Khan.
The PCB also said that the selection of the team of the tournament took into account various factors related to cricket, including the impact on the individual performance of the players on the match, the fitness of the players and the best combination of the team.
Shadab Khan, captain of the PSL 2020 Dream Team, said that it was an honor to be selected as the captain of the Team of the Tournament, but regretted that Islamabad United could not reach the playoffs.
The PSL 5 play-off matches were canceled due to the spread of the global epidemic Corona virus, but the PCB had announced to hold the remaining matches in November after the epidemic subsided in Pakistan.
