Leaders of the opposition Ittehad-e-Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) objected to the statement of former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) have raised objections to Nawaz Sharif's statement at a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement.
PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that his party's statement was the same as the PDM's statement.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that there is no problem in PDM in naming any institution or any person, some people pay attention, some people take the name explicitly.
Addressing the meeting, PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the PDM has no choice but to accept Nawaz Sharif's statement.
The head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement said that the main goal of the PDM was to restore the true constitutional and democratic system.
He said that a common position has to be taken beyond the rhetoric of our parties.
Opposition parties have agreed to convene a summit on November 14.
In the meeting, PDM demanded uninterrupted running of foreign funding case and publication of report on abduction of IG Sindh.
