MQM Pakistan leader Haider Abbas Rizvi returns home



Haider Abbas Rizvi, senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, has returned to Pakistan.


 According to the report, party sources said that Haider Abbas Rizvi returned home after more than two years.


He said that Haider Abbas Rizvi's mother was not feeling well for some time.


It should be noted that before the provocative speech of the founder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Altaf Hussain on August 22, 2016, he had gone to Canada about 5 years ago.


However, he returned to Karachi a month before the July 25, 2018 general elections, and MQM Pakistan announced that people would know that they stood by him, but Haider Abbas Rizvi for unknown reasons. He left the country again in a few hours.


This time, the party has not made any official announcement regarding his repatriation or other details.


Former student leader and fiery speaker Haider Abbas Rizvi has twice been a member of the National Assembly.


He was also a member of the 17-member parliamentary committee on constitutional reform that drafted the 18th Amendment, passed in 2010.


He is also one of the recipients of the Distinguished Service Award as the then President Asif Ali Zardari conferred this prestigious civil award on all 17 members of the parliamentary committee in 2011.
