A statement issued by the ISPR said that the Egyptian ambassador had met with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa during which important issues were discussed.
According to details, the meeting between Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the Egyptian Ambassador focused on enhancing cooperation in defense and security. Talking on the occasion, the Army Chief said that Pakistan and Egypt have fraternal relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries should be further enhanced. During the meeting, the Egyptian Ambassador appreciated the achievements of the Pakistan Army in the war on terror and its efforts to establish peace in the region.
