Maryam Nawaz's message on the death of her grandmother

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that she has requested her father Mian Nawaz Sharif not to return to Pakistan.

In her message on Twitter after the death of her grandmother, Maryam Nawaz said, “The shadow of mother's prayers rose from Mian Sahib's head. I received the news of my grandmother's death two hours late due to suspension of phone services, after which I immediately left for Lahore.

Maryam Nawaz said that her father and family kept trying to contact her but could not. "No government official was so humane as to inform me of my grandmother's death. I have requested Mian Sahib not to come back at all. They are oppressors and blind in revenge from whom no kind of humanity is expected.

It may be recalled that Maryam Nawaz got the news of her grandmother's death while she was present on the stage of PDM's Peshawar meeting. When Maryam Nawaz was informed, she left the meeting without giving a speech.
