Maryam Nawaz Sharif also came to the fore on Bilawal Bhutto's statement

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that the statement of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is being misrepresented which is needed by some people and the sinking ship is being supported by straw.

Talking to media at the airport in Islamabad, he said that an attempt was being made to split the Pakistan Democratic Movement and in this regard Bilawal Bhutto, PPP, I and PML-N knew who was doing it and why. He further said that they have rigged in Gilgit-Baltistan and are trying to do more but at present the statement of PML-N is the statement of the people and our party has served the people and at that time in Skardu. I have come to see the feelings of the people.

It may be recalled that in an interview given to a British broadcaster, Bilawal Bhutto had said that the PML-N had not mentioned the name of General Bajwa or General Faiz while preparing the agenda of the Pakistan Democratic Movement. It was decided that the blame should be placed on only one institution or the entire establishment on which it was decided that the name of the establishment would be taken.

He had said that naming the military leadership in the meeting was a personal decision of Nawaz Sharif and it is awaited when he will present evidence but when he heard the name directly in Nawaz Sharif's speech, he was shocked because usually in meetings we Don't talk like that while our agenda is clear in the resolution passed in the All Parties Conference.

Bilawal Bhutto had further said that Pakistan Democratic Movement does not want the military leadership to resign. This is neither a demand in our resolution nor is it our position and as far as Nawaz Sharif is concerned, he has resigned three times. He has been the Prime Minister and he is sure that he would not have been named without clear and proof.
