According to the report, for the first time in Kuwait, it has been decided to install new traffic cameras for fast marking of car plates and recording the color of vehicles.
These state-of-the-art cameras will now control coronavirus cases and the movement of traffic on the roads.
These cameras are capable of reading hundreds of car plates in a matter of minutes, they will note the number plate as well as the color of the car, with the help of which all the data of location, date and time will be stored in the database. And in case of any accident, help can be sought by accessing this data.
These cameras will likely be installed on traffic lights or road signs, not only to monitor traffic rules violations, but also to monitor the movement of cars.
According to sources, the Interior Ministry has also received approval to sign an agreement to bring the cameras, the cost of the project is 788,700 dinars.
