For the protection and breeding of wildlife by the Saudi government, rare animals have been left in a protected forest to save their species from extinction.
In this regard, the sources said that the Saudi Al-Ala Royal Authority and the National Center for the Promotion of Wildlife have released several rare animals in Al-Ala's protected national forest Sharan.
According to Saudi media, under the Rare Animal Conservation and Breeding Program, 25 wild deer, 50 deer of Al-Raim breed, 20 common deer and 10 Arab deer of Al-Wadhihi breed have been released in the forest.
Al-Ala's citizens, representatives of private organizations and many officials have collaborated in this program to promote the breed of rare animals.
This step has been taken because in the past these animals were found in significant numbers here but now with the passage of time their existence has been endangered.
Muhammad Qurban, executive chairman of the center, said that with the cooperation and collaboration of the concerned agencies, more such animals would be released into the forest soon.
