Jahangir Tareen has resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of Jamal Din Wali (JDW) Sugar Mills. Raheel Masood will serve as the new CEO.
According to Web Pakistan Daily, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen has resigned from the post of CEO of his JDW Sugar Mills. In his place, a director of the mills who is considered close to Jahangir Tareen has been appointed as the chief executive officer.
According to the FIA report, Jahangir Tareen's sugar mills are accused of creating a sugar crisis in Pakistan, which caused billions of rupees in losses to the national exchequer.
Remember that after the sugar scandal, Jahangir Tareen has returned home after treatment in Britain. Some sources say that Jahangir Tareen is still in talks with his friend Imran Khan.
