ISIL-linked terrorists have beheaded more than 50 people in the East African country of Mozambique. The incident took place in the province of Kabu Delgado in northern Mozambique.
ISIL fighters attacked villages in the two districts of Makumya and Maudambai, massacring civilians, abducting children and women and setting houses on fire.
An eyewitness told the media that ISIS fighters captured the people and took them to the football stadium in Motide village and beheaded them there. These people have been killed only because they refused to join ISIS.
Mozambique's province is known for its natural gas reserves, and since 2017, ISIS has killed more than 2,000 people. More than 430,000 people have fled the province for fear of ISIS.
