Former Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan for Health Dr Zafar Mirza said that it was decided to import medicines from India in consultation with the Prime Minister but later an inquiry was ordered. Where is that report now?
In an interview, Dr Zafar Mirza said that a campaign had been launched against him so he resigned. There is tension between the elected and the unelected in the cabinet and parliament.
He said that Life Saving was not mentioned in the permission to import medicines from India. It was decided in consultation with the Prime Minister that the medicines would be exempted but when the matter came up in the Cabinet, the Prime Minister said that the inquiry was possible. I didn't come first. Where is that inquiry now and what is the result?
